FULL MEMBERSHIP: This membership is for full use of the facilities, including voting rights for the business of the Club and reciprocal privileges. 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: An Associate Membership may be granted to any Full or Intermediate Member in good standing provided they have been a member at OOYC for five (5) consecutive years. This membership is for those who have sold their boat or moved out of the area. Associate members have ½ vote, are not required to fulfill work hours, and may not hold an elected office on the Board of Directors.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP: For boaters (or non boaters) that want to enjoy our Dining Room and Bar. This membership DOES NOT include dock or reciprocal privileges and does not allow the member to vote at business meetings. 

ANNUAL OBLIGATIONS: All members are required to purchase a minimum of $150 in “chits” per year. The chits can be used at the bar, in the restaurant or for items at our frequent, wonderful parties.  Also, Full members are required to contribute 20 work hours annually; 10 hours for those members over 70 years of age.

Oak Orchard Yacht Club

 

Oak Orchard Yacht Club welcomes all boaters, racers and cruisers, power and sail. The club owns 48 slips, each with electric and water services. The clubhouse contains a restaurant and bar which is open during the boating season on Friday and Saturday nights. The grounds are surrounded by mature oak trees and adjacent apple orchard.

It is hard to imagine a more pleasant place to visit on an overnight stay or for a weekend. OOYC owns its property, building and docks and it has no long-term debt. The club offers a variety of membership types with a reasonable dues schedule and deferred initiation fee.

Toilet, shower and laundry facilities and ice are available 7 days a week.
