Membership Levels

FULL MEMBERSHIP: This membership includes full use of the facilities, voting rights for the business of the club, and reciprocal privileges. Docks are available only to full and intermediate members and are charged separately.

INTERMEDIATE FULL MEMBERSHIP: *NEW*
This membership gives members ages 18-40 years old as of January 2026 full membership privileges to encourage younger boaters to join. 

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP: An Associate Membership may be granted to any Full Member in good standing who has been a member at OOYC for five consecutive years. This membership is for those who have sold their boat or moved out of the area but wish to remain active in club affairs. Associate members have ½ vote, may not rent a dock, and may not hold an elected office on the Board of Directors.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP: For those who want to enjoy our Restaurant and Bar, club events, pickleball courts, and grounds. This membership does not include dock or reciprocal privileges and does not allow the member to vote at business meetings. 

ANNUAL OBLIGATIONS: Members at all levels are required to purchase a minimum of $250 in “chits” per year. The chits can be used at the bar or in the restaurant.  Also, Full Members under age 70 are encouraged, but are no longer required, to contribute 20 work hours annually to help maintained our shared property, clubhouse and docks.

Pickleball Only Membership: This level is for those who only wish to play
pickleball without visiting the restaurant, participating in events or taking advantage of
other membership benefits. This level gives individual members use of the pickleball
courts at a lower rate but includes no other benefits or responsibilities of membership.
Guests will be charged $5.00 per day while accompanied by a pickleball only member.
The member will be responsible for collecting guest fees and submitting them to the
OOYC treasurer.
Full, Intermediate, Associate, Social and Honorary members will continue to have use of
pickleball courts, including their occasional guests, as part of their membership benefits
and responsibilities.

For 2026, new members choosing Full Membership with a Dock will receive a 50% discount.

New members will also be required to purchase $250 in chits to be used at the restaurant, bar, or events.
